  • Vacuum in the direction of the pile of the rug to avoid damaging fibers.
  • Regular vacuuming prevents buildup of dust and dirt.

Rotate regularly

  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight to prevent discoloration.
  • Rotate the rug periodically to promote even wear.
  • Check if your carpet is washable, this option can also be considered to refresh your carpet.

Tapping, dusting & airing

  • Remove coarse dirt by vacuuming first.
  • Take your rug outside and gently pat it to remove dust and dirt.
  • Lightly shake out the rug and let it air in fresh air for a few hours.

Additional advice

Synthetic materials
Synthetic rugs are usually durable and easy to maintain. If a stain occurs, act quickly. Dab the stain gently with a clean cloth and, if necessary, use a mild detergent specifically for rugs.

Natural materials
Natural rugs such as wool or cotton are more sensitive. Try to keep food and beverages away from the rug to prevent stains. Consult a specialist for specific cleaning instructions.

Storage
If you are not using the rug for an extended period of time, roll it up and store it in a dry, clean place to avoid dust and moisture. If possible, use a breathable fabric cover to protect the rug.
