Synthetic materials
Synthetic rugs are usually durable and easy to maintain. If a stain occurs, act quickly. Dab the stain gently with a clean cloth and, if necessary, use a mild detergent specifically for rugs.
Natural materials
Natural rugs such as wool or cotton are more sensitive. Try to keep food and beverages away from the rug to prevent stains. Consult a specialist for specific cleaning instructions.
Storage
If you are not using the rug for an extended period of time, roll it up and store it in a dry, clean place to avoid dust and moisture. If possible, use a breathable fabric cover to protect the rug.
